A Queen’s Bath

This natural wonder in Kauai is one of the easiest to get to with a big reward. It is a short walk over a lava shelf and you find yourself in a naturally occurring pool of water at the shore. The water is crystal clear with some sweet snorkeling.

Off to Copenhagen

I’m about to board the plane to Copenhagen and I’m filled with a sense of excitement and nervousness. Mostly nervousness. I have no idea what will happen when I’m there. That’s the best part though, right? So many questions are flying through my head. I hope to answer at least a few of them in the weeks to come. Gotta go now, but I will update once we are established at our host house. Thank you for all the support!

This week has been a long one and I completely forgot it was a three day weekend. With no plans in mind Jaeger and I decided to take a road trip to Portland. Our initial destination was Vancouver, but I was without the proper identification to cross our country’s border. With no plans in mind we powered our way down here and enjoyed the scenery. Back home

I just got back from Mexico a few days ago. Our flight got cancelled and we couldn’t get out of California until Christmas Eve. Here is a slideshow of some of my images from the Mexican Riviera. Just click on the image.

Mesa, AZ

My sister and I traveled down to Mesa, AZ to visit my other sister. She is attending physical therapy school down here. A sun-filled suburbia to say the least. It makes me miss the wet and cold of the northwest (crazy huh?) It is a nice break though and the company isn’t too bad either.
