My main reason for being on assignment for The Bellingham Herald was to help cover the Northwest Washington Fair in Lynden. I had the opportunity to cover the rides. I got to ride for free! Every boys dream. The kid inside me was jumping for joy until I rode the Gravitron and was nauseous for three hours. The deep fried Twinkies didn’t sound too appetizing after that.
