The Emerald Collective, the photo collective I’m apart of with Jordan Stead, photographed Dubstep DJ Nero at the WaMu Theater in downtown Seattle for New Year’s Eve. The energy and the masses of people was incredible. After what seemed forever to get the proper credentials we were given free roam to cover the event. Thanks for looking.
I photographed Devo at the Redhook Brewery 30th Anniversary for Mutineer Magazine. They put on a great show despite the downpour. Here are a select few from the concert and a link to the rest of the images on my archive.
To start of Mother’s Day right I shot the Sounders FC and LA Galaxy game for Next Season Sports. I haven’t shot soccer in awhile and it took me awhile to get in the groove. I had challenges finding the most efficient angle, due to the regulated movement of media on the field. Overall it was a fun game and I can’t wait to have another crack at it. Here is the article. Death Cab for Cutie played a Western student exclusive show at Mount Baker Theatre last week. I was asked to photograph the show for the school. Overall an amazing show, despite the incompetent staff at Mount Baker Theatre. Seriously, if you are going to give out press passes then they should have some authority as to where you can go. Last weekend I went to Neumos to shoot a show (despite the clueless security staff). The venue was pretty sweet with plenty of room, crisp acoustics and plenty of liquid courage to go around.
