Thankful

Here are some shots from a maternity shoot I did for mother to be Tracey. She wanted to create a couple of thank you cards for friends and family that threw her a baby shower. It was Tracey’s idea to use some paint and decorate her belly. The color and the light was ideal. I used a shoot through-umbrella and the sun as a backlight, with some of the shots just using natural. I was pretty happy about the simple setup and for an energetic subject like Tracey. She is due towards the end of June. Congrats!

Off to Copenhagen

SeaTacTerminal_01

I’m about to board the plane to Copenhagen and I’m filled with a sense of excitement and nervousness. Mostly nervousness. I have no idea what will happen when I’m there. That’s the best part though, right? So many questions are flying through my head. I hope to answer at least a few of them in the weeks to come. Gotta go now, but I will update once we are established at our host house. Thank you for all the support!

Death Cab for Cutie

DeathCab_17DeathCab_08 Death Cab for Cutie played a Western student exclusive show at Mount Baker Theatre last week. I was asked to photograph the show for the school. Overall an amazing show, despite the incompetent staff at Mount Baker Theatre. Seriously, if you are going to give out press passes then they should have some authority as to where you can go. I had four different tickets to let me in and out of particular areas, painful to say the least. Always be early. End rant. Click on for more. Continue reading

Mark Banaag Art

BanaagArt

Hello, friends! It has been awhile since my last post. My last couple of weeks have been pretty busy with finishing the last couple of shoots for Klipsun magazine and finals week. I recently photographed the artwork by my friend Mark Banaag. He is quite the talented individual and has just started his business selling his art. If you are interested check out his work at MODE organic salon in Seattle. I will be posting my work from the last couple of weeks so stay tuned to see some new content.
