I got a week of summer vacation before starting at the Skagit Valley Herald. I spent some of that time across the mountains. My friend and roommate, Andy Jaeger, invited us to his family’s property along the Wenatchee River. It was a great place to relax and do nothing for awhile. By nothing I mean drink beer and work on my “tan”. Woodland adventures and sleeping under the stars are exactly what I needed! I can’t wait to spend more time there. Happy Father’s Day!
