On the water
School and work have been consuming my life as of late. School during the week and freelancing on the weekends have kept me busy. I got plenty of content to edit through and post, but here are some frames from my last assignment. It was free boating day at the Bellingham Community Boating Center in Fairhaven on Saturday and I had the oppurtunity to go sailing! I sailed in the boat Horizen with locals looking for an aquatic adventure. Expect some new content in the coming days, but in the mean time go outside and get a tan. Click on for more (more…)
Mother's Day at Qwest
To start of Mother’s Day right I shot the Sounders FC and LA Galaxy game for Next Season Sports. I haven’t shot soccer in awhile and it took me awhile to get in the groove. I had challenges finding the most efficient angle, due to the regulated movement of media on the field. Overall it was a fun game and I can’t wait to have another crack at it. Here is the article. Friday Harbor
Our advanced visual journalism class went on a class field trip to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island this weekend. The assignment was to gather multimedia from an outdoor sculpture park on the island. I was with a great group and the actually traveling was the best part. It has been awhile since I got to ride a ferry. They are quite magical. Here are some random fun photos of the trip.
