Death Cab for Cutie

DeathCab_17DeathCab_08 Death Cab for Cutie played a Western student exclusive show at Mount Baker Theatre last week. I was asked to photograph the show for the school. Overall an amazing show, despite the incompetent staff at Mount Baker Theatre. Seriously, if you are going to give out press passes then they should have some authority as to where you can go. I had four different tickets to let me in and out of particular areas, painful to say the least. Always be early. End rant. i agree with the second to last, but the second one’s also amazing.

  • Press pass issues totally weren’t Mount Baker Theatre’s fault. It was the people traveling with the production. Did you shoot Thursday night’s show? I shot Wednesday and had to put up with “Yes you can,” “No you can’t,” “We think that should be fine,” “No, definitely not,” “Come back tomorrow,” and so on in an unending circle. The MBT director finally got things settled. I had to shoot from way back with a 400, but I got the pics I needed. Except for Bob Dylan, this was the most frustrating concert I’ve ever shot. I’m glad you got the photos you needed, sorry it was frustrating. This is not the way things are supposed to work.
